![]() If you see a freight transport with lots of cargo on board you ideally want to drop his shields, poke him a bit, and comm him and tell him to drop his freight. ![]() In my "test run", that lasted 2 in-game days, i managed to scavenge together almost a hundred lasers and dozens of shields. The higher your fight rank, the more loot you will get from bailed or blown up ships. ![]() Furthermore, the ships leave behind more equipment, software and cargo when they bail. ( )įirst of all, with LU installed all ships can bail from combat, even from NPC vs NPC combat and even big ships like corvettes and frigates. It is the only mod i'm running with and it is enough for me. It overhauls and improves the entire game so i definitely recommend it. Well, i'm using Litcube's Universe (Hench the LU in the title) and it makes it a little easier to become a pirate/insurgent. What do you folks think? Decent play concept? am i missing out on things? Things i need to absolutely get a hold of before i drop the 'peaceful trader' facade and start my terror campaign? Initially i was considering a full-blown pirate play-through but i would like to have a PHQ or EQ dock. (For both roleplaying reasons, and to purposely limit myself). Terran and ATF ships are to be considered and treated hostile, though no direct action will be taken against them. We just want to deny the Commonwealth the ability to maintain a permanent presence in space. Total capture of sectors is neither possible nor required. Start 'securing' surrounding sectors one by one. Plunder local shipping and capture ships to gain the required raw materials and equipment required to fuel the shipyard. Retreat to build my base of operations in a unclaimed or unknown sector. Their mercenary forces and fondness for anarchy will be vital. I'm still brainstorming the idea and role-play behind it but here's what i got so far:īuild enough reputation with the Argon to buy a TL, the PHQ and EQ dock.Įarn the trust of the Yaki and Pirates. Covertly though, they have funded a piracy and insurgency operation lead by the player, whose mission it is to cause as much chaos and disruption in Commonwealth sectors as possible so they are unable to focus on the Terrans. Without sufficient evidence, public support or manpower to take on the entire commonwealth in open warfare, the Terrans have decided to 'play nice' with them publicly. Why? Because the corporation i will play is actually a Terran initiative formed in response to the destruction of the original Earth Torus by Argon terrorists. The idea i have is to play a corporation that's aggressively waging war against the Commonwealth races in order to weaken them. Some features are missing. After an initial "testing" play-through of Litcube's Universe, i have an urge to go for a more interesting/challenging experience involving piracy, rebellion and eventually open warfare against the universe. Yaki Armada for X3:TC and X3:AP is in Alpha. The player is also able to join the Yaki Guild by contacting Yaki Mobiles Bases via ECS, if his reputation is high enough and have the required 50.000 credits, unlocking missions and various additional features. Helping yaki ships will give you money and good reputation with this faction. The plugin also allows you to communicate with Yaki ships and Mobile Base using the ECS library. Destroyed carriers will of course respawn after a random while. They will also repair, rearm and refuel at any pirate base when needed. AI of those carriers has been improved so they can defend themselves when attacked and flee when in real danger. Each carrier run a script that allows it to do various things as sending a squadron to attack a factory, a TS, a TL, or a defense ship. It will spawn a configurable amount of Yaki mobile bases (TL or M1) equipped with a jumpdrive and filled with Yaki Fighters. Yaki Armada will make the Yaki faction more interesting.
